More work today...
Brian is deep into the engine compartment again today.
He changed the oil,
replaced the alternator belt,
and several other things...
while I was trying to keep the girls occupied and out of the way of small tools, diesel fuel, oil, and other things I'm sure they would find fascinating. This was challenging to have all 4 of us still on the boat, in the middle of thunderstorms. It did not feel like a vacation!
Thanks to my dad for sending a boat repair reference book this week, adding to our diesel engine handbook we already have onboard.
Does Brian enjoy the challenge of fixing the boat? Are you anxious to reach the Bahamas? I'm sure on rainy days you are ready for the sunshine and beaches!
