Our Katja loves riding FAST in the dinghy!
Our inflatable boat is our major source of transportation during the days we are anchored. The anchorage is a considerable distance from land, so we need this "family car" to get around. The boat can hold 4 adults and has an outboard engine onboard. It is easier to get to land in this because it only goes about 1 foot into the water, compared to 6 feet in our large sailboat. When we get to land we either 1.) anchor the dinghy in the sand or ground, or 2.) tie up at a public dock. Yesterday, I tied up at a restaurant, hoping that it would be OK to leave it.
Katja likes to go really fast and laughs and laughs... it is so cute.
