A box came yesterday from UPS! This was the final shipment! Yay!

Except.... it was missing one cable. The cable that helps the new system "talk" to the old system. One simple cable. Ahh!!!! More waiting!!!!

Brian spent the day yesterday installing the internal compass (so the AutoPilot knows where to go) as well as the other parts. It was difficult to find a required space inside the boat that was 6 feet from any major metal parts which might change the magnetic direction of the compass. We have so many different things tucked away inside each little compartment; for example, a can of insect repellent was magnetic enough to change it from within our medicine cabinet! Not to mention all of the other metal parts such as the engine inside our boat... Brian's persistence paid off, and he was able to mount it under the floor in the center of the boat. By now he should be a Yoga Master, with all of the twisting and bending he has had to do.

Once this last cable arrives Monday or Tuesday, we hope to be leaving Wilmington for Charleston South Carolina, depending on the weather. Here are some photos of downtown Wilmington the other day.
